The Press Association: Tourism warning over 2012 Olympics: "Britain must beware the fate of Greece in 2004 when assuming the 2012 London Olympics will bring a big influx of visitors, a tourism chief has warned.
Tourism Alliance head Kurt Janson said regular tourists stayed away from Greece through fear of overcrowding.
Important aims in London must be to encourage additional tourists without discouraging regular visitors, he said."
